About You
You are a code ninja who makes the seemingly impossible automagically appear. You are not only good at foosball or first person shooters, you are a skilled programmer/hacker with at least three years experience pounding keys. We need a self-starter who can work autonomously but plays well with others. You must be able to work at a fast pace, pay attention to details and be a quick learner. You must have a working knowledge of web programming in at least one of the following languages: Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, PHP, ASP.net, ColdFusion, Python as well as an above average knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. While PowerON provides a unique opportunity to learn from some of the most skilled Ruby on Rails programmers around, we are looking for someone who can quickly add their own value. Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Ruby on Rails programming experience
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Willingness to champion new ideas
Major skills at playing foosball & fragging
Able to pass 7-year criminal background check
US Citizenship or Green Card
Work 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday (but flexible should project require additional time)
